Swimming Lessons Registration Info

Spring Group Swim Lessons

                                                   

Description: Group Swim Lessons will give learners the opportunity to develop new skills and improve their strokes in a group setting. 

 

Ages: 6mths +  

 

8 week sessions start Thursday April 24th, or Sunday, April 27th

​

 

Member Registration Dates: April 10th- April 16th, 2025

Public Registration Dates: April 17th-April 23rd, 2025

​

Session Days & Times: Sundays 9:00am – 12:00pm or Thursdays 4:00pm – 6:30pm 

​

Cost: Family Member Inclusive; Child Members $80.00; Non Members - $168.00 

​

*Swim levels are assigned during the registration process. For more information on swim levels, click here.

Please note these YMCA policies:

  • All guests aged 18yrs+ must present a government issued Photo ID to access the facility.

  • Children in the Pre-school program must be accompanied by a swimming adult.

Spring Private  Swim Lessons

Private swimming lessons will give learners the opportunity to develop new skills and improve their strokes in a one-on-one setting.  Private swim lessons are offered over an eight-week session.

 

Ages: 6mths +  

 

Member Registration Dates: April 10th- April 16th, 2025

Public Registration Dates: April 17th-April 23rd, 2025

Sessions will begin: Week of April 20th

 

Member Price: $160.00  

Non-Member Price: $240.00

Upcoming Lifesaving Courses

​

Bronze Star: Date: TBD, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Bronze Star is the prerequisite course to Bronze Medallion for youth under the age of 13 interested in taking there lifeguarding courses. This course is solely to test candidates skills and assess whether or not they will be ready for Bronze Medallion. (Youth aged 12 and younger CANNOT take Medallion without a Bronze Star Certification)

 

Bronze Medallion: Date: December 21st, 22nd, and 28th, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Bronze Medallion is the prerequisite course to Bronze Cross. It teaches lifesaving skills and water safety to participants. Participants wanting to take Bronze Cross will need to complete this course first. Any participants under the age of 13 will have needed to complete Bronze Star first.

 

Bronze Cross: Date: TBD, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Bronze Cross prepares participants for lifeguarding as a Cross Guard, or Jr Guard. Participants must have successfully completed Bronze Medallion are eligible to take this course.

 

National Lifeguard: April 26th and 27th, May 3rd, 4th, and 10th. 9:00 am – 5:00pm. For participants 15 yrs + interested in becoming fully certified lifeguards. Successfully completion of Bronze Cross is required before taking this course.
