YMCA camps provide life-changing experiences. Friendships blossom, self-confidence emerges, independence grows, and through it all our campers build resilience to help them face new challenges.

 

For many kids, camp is only an option with your support. When you give the gift of camp, you give

campers a better appreciation for the natural world, their community, and best of all - themselves.

 

From February 26 - April 30 the YMCAs in Atlantic Canada will join together in an initiative to send 1,300 kids to camp this summer. We have done our research and recognize the challenges each of our communities face.

 

With your support we will remove barriers for all kids to participate in summer camp. This includes financial, and cultural barriers, so every kid can shine bright at camp.

 

By providing kids with this opportunity we can help them grow, connect and build their confidence. We want more kids to have this opportunity. This summer, we want to give 1,300 kids the chance to shine bright in Atlantic Canada. You can help Give the Gift of camp to the children who need it most, right here at the YMCA of Cumberland.
