Amherst Cheer - 6 Weeks
An introductory program with basic cheerleading skills that is fun, safe, inclusive and developmentally appropriate.

Dance Dance is a recreational, introductory dance program offering a combination of Hip Hop / Jazz / Modern Dance. Do something fun and get fit at the same time, no experience necessary.
Ages: 4 and under & 5-8yrs Dates: Starts April 8, 2017 - Saturday from 9:00-9:30am and 9:30-10:00am Cost: $57.75 member, $87.75 non-member .

Adult Programming

Parrsboro Pound®
POUND® is the world's first cardio jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, improving your health and rocking out! Drop-in classes for an eight week session starting Thursady, April 13, 2017 from 7:00-8:00pm. Cost: $5/ per class. Springhill Cyclefit
A group cycling class that guides participants through all types of terrain, flat roads, hills, rough trails. Interval drills and more. The movements are fun, simple and easy to learn. Everyone is in control of their own resistance level on the bikes so each member works out at their own pace. **Those interested are required to sign up in advance as there are a limited number of bikes. Registration is taken at 5pm the day before the class. To register call 902-667-9112.

Weight Training Basics Program
An introductory program to weight training which will show proper form and technique of exercises. Lead by a personal trainer, this 10 week program is designed to make you feel comfortable in the weight room. You will learn how to advance your programming in a safe and effective manner. Dates: April 12 - June 11, 2017 Times: Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm and Saturday 11:00am-12:00pm Cost:$50 for members, $125 for non-members. Learn to Run
An introductory running program which will support beginners in a group setting. Lead by a running coach, this 10 week program is designed to make you feel comfortable while hitting the pavement. Participants will learn how to run in a safe and effective manner, while working towards their individual goals. Also included are additional learning sessions on nutrition, cross training, proper shoe fitting and more. Standard First Aid Course
SFA is people who want a general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries. Skills include: victim assessment, rescue breathing, CPR, choking and what to do for external bleeding, heart attack and stroke.

Swim Instructor Course
Teaches the skills, knowledge and techniques that are required to become a certified swimming instructor.
Pre-Requisites: 16yrs+ and Bronze Cross Certified

NLS Certification 
National Lifeguard training is designed to develop the basic life guarding skills, principles and decision-making processes, which will assist the lifeguard to evaluate and adapt to different aquatic facilities and emergencies in an aquatic setting.
Prerequisite: Minimum 16yrs old, Bronze Crossand Standard First Aid.
